Our Ongoing Initiatives
Through health, education, culture and community initiatives, we respond to the evolving needs of Arsuz and create opportunities for learning, participation and solidarity.
Arsuz Weaving Workshop
Established after the 2023 earthquakes, the Arsuz Weaving Workshop preserves local weaving traditions while supporting women's economic empowerment through craftsmanship, contemporary design and collective production. To date, 26 women have received training and 13 have joined forces to establish a women's cooperative.

Arsuz Community Center
Established in 2023 following the earthquakes, the Arsuz Community Center brings children, young people, and women together through educational, cultural and creative programs.

Arsuz Children's Choir
Bringing children together through music, the Arsuz Children's Choir encourages creativity, self-expression, and a sense of belonging. Through regular rehearsals and performances, the choir offers children an opportunity to discover their voices, build confidence and experience the joy of making music together.

Füsun Sayek Health & Culture Events
Since 2007, our annual program has brought people together through concerts, exhibitions, workshops, health screenings and community gatherings, all free and open to the public.

Iskender Sayek Culture House
A listed cultural heritage property and historic family home in Arsuz, the İskender Sayek Culture House hosted our Association’s health and cultural events for many years. Severely damaged in the February 2023 earthquakes, the building is now undergoing restoration to preserve Arsuz’s architectural and cultural heritage and bring it back to life as a space for art, culture and community gatherings.

Füsun Sayek Scholarship
The Füsun Sayek Scholarship Fund supports university students affected by the February 2023 earthquakes, with a particular focus on those studying medicine and health sciences.
Our scholarships provide financial assistance to students in need, helping them continue their education and pursue their professional aspirations.

Alongside our ongoing initiatives, we work with local institutions, civil society organizations and partners on projects responding to the changing needs of our community.
