ABOUT SCHOLARSHIP FRAUD

 

In recent days, it has been detected that messages have been sent from different channels using the name and logo of our association with the information that scholarships have been won; identity, bank and personal information has been requested.

These phone numbers are not related to our association.

We kindly ask you not to apply for a scholarship through phone messages, fake websites and various social media channels that aim to defraud with the promise of scholarship by using the name of our association and we kindly ask you not to rely on such attempts that are not related to our association. 

Our association reaches scholarship recipients only via info@fusunsayek.org e-mail address. 

We kindly ask you not to rely on those who request information such as money, bank account, code, etc. under the pretext that they will be given a scholarship by reaching through channels other than this, and we kindly ask you not to share any of your information.

We respectfully announce that we have initiated the legal process.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
Academic Year 2024-2025

Applications for this year's scholarship fund have now closed

and the scholarship recipients will be announced on our website on Friday, October 13, 2024.


Füsun Sayek Health and Education Development Association Scholarship is a scholarship fund established to support higher education students who are successful but in need of financial support, whose family or themselves reside in the disaster area and who are affected by the earthquake.  

In the 2023-2024 academic year, we provided educational support to 100 students from the earthquake zone, this year we are increasing this number to 125.

 

Students who will receive the Füsun Sayek Health and Education Development Association Scholarship will be determined by the Scholarship Committee based on their need for financial support and their achievement status. 

The Füsun Sayek Health and Education Development Association Scholarship is non-refundable and does not include any repayment or service obligation. However, scholarship recipients and graduate scholarship recipients can take part in the activities organized within the association if they wish.

Quota: The scholarship quota for the 2024-2025 academic year has been set as 25 students for higher education students who are successful but in need of financial support, whose family or themselves reside in the disaster area and who are affected by the earthquake.

Füsun Sayek Scholarship Fund Application Calendar:

Application Dates: September 12, 2024 - September 22, 2024

Evaluation Dates: September 23, 2024 - October 12, 2024

Announcement of Results: October 13, 2024

APPLICATION CONDITIONS

- Being a Turkish citizen
- To be a resident of one of the provinces affected by the earthquake and to have been affected by the earthquake

- To have the right to enroll in a formal higher education undergraduate program in Turkey or to be continuing their education in intermediate classes

For newly enrolled candidates: To have a document showing that they have gained the right to enroll in an undergraduate program
For applicants from intermediate classes: Have a cumulative grade point average of 70/100 or 2.75/4.00 and have earned the right to transfer to the next grade (Intermediate applicants must attach their transcripts)
- Need financial aid for your education

- Not receiving scholarship support from another institution or organization (except KYK) 

- Not having any criminal record

- Filling out the application form completely and accurately, uploading the necessary files with the application and completing it between the specified dates

- Provide references (references from family members (mother, father, uncle, aunt, auntie, etc.) will not be accepted).

Important note: No more than one person from the same family can receive education assistance.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR APPLICATION

After filling out the Scholarship Application Form, please click on the File Upload button on the form and attach all the files that apply to your application.                                                           

- Student certificate (E-state/E-school)

- For university students: Transcript (Document showing all semesters, you can get it from your school) 

- ÖSYM certificate (E-government or ÖSYM website) for the 1st year of university and preparatory period

- If the student is over 18 years old, Criminal Record (E-government)

- Tuition / Contribution Loan and Scholarship Inquiry Document (E-devlet)

- Family Population Record Sample (E-devlet) showing all of the Family Members 

- List screen for querying title deed information of family members (mother, father, siblings and the applicant student) (E-devlet, names should appear)

- Income certificate of the parents (E-government for those who work in public institutions, payroll from the institution where they work for those who do not work in public institutions)

- Document from the Social Security Institution on behalf of the non-working, non-income mother and father that they have no income/income records (E-government) 

- Disability Certificate (current from the health board) 

- Poverty Certificate if available                                                

Important note: Supporting documents may be requested for the information provided.

SCHOLARSHIP CONTINUATION CONDITIONS

In order for the scholarship to continue, the scholar must have an annual academic average of 70/100 or 2.75/4.0. 

If the annual academic average is below 70/100 or 2.75/4.0, the board of directors makes a re-evaluation and makes a decision. 

Students who receive scholarships must submit official documents regarding their academic achievements at the end of each year. 

The scholarship of the student who makes an false statements will be terminated and the scholarship will be claimed back.

SCHOLARSHIP PAYMENT

Scholarship winners will be paid for 9 months after the completion of the necessary documents.
